There are various places around the country that would welcome the donation. If your anywhere near Southampton I would recommend jamiescomputerclub .org.uk (Cant post URLs yet so no live link, and take the spaces out), they do a good job.

As for just getting rid of them, be careful I bought a job lot of PC's for spares from eBay around a year ago and they were all from a local council that had been sold for wiping and disposal. Most of them still had data on them.

Always wipe your own data off before giving it to ANYONE (Staff included), and while I remember thats another idea, yes they may be old but you can offer things like that to staff quite a few people will snap them up in most companies.
