I also love to watch Dragons Den. I think the most valuable part of the programme are the reasons each of the dragons give for supporting or rejecting a particular business idea. It is easy to be drawn towards a product or service and see it as a useful or saleable idea, but that does not necessary turn into a profitable business. It is also quite amazing how many hopeful people spend half their lives working on some completely crazy gadget that is clearly a no-goer from the outset.
