Accounting Sofware

I am interested in finding out what accounting packages our members are using - if any. Most of the SMEs I talk to say it is a toss between Sage and Quickbooks. I am also wondering if there are online systems for small companies.

Hi Bob,
I did a bit of research for this earlier on in the year, what I found was quite interesting.
There is no generic online accounting system (or none that I have found). What I have found are accounting companies developing their own online solution which businesses can sign up for.

MYOB is quite good if you are not particularly keen on spending a lot of time on the computer, as it is designed to be very simple. Sage is excellent, but it does require some expertise.
