Default Pay per action

I recall in the past I had a number of sites I was using that would pay me for getting someone to signup to another site free.
eg site 1 listed all these opportunities and all I had to do was get someone to signup to site 2 and I'd get paid for it.
I cannot recall any of these past sites I have used but if you understand what I mean does anyone here know of these sites that are paying?
I have a couple of ideas that I wish to implement but I am having trouble finding these PPA sites again.

I could suggest Market Leverage but I haven’t really able to use them before. There are many sites where you could get into and thus helps you earn money simply from referring some signups for them for free. I think that it is called cpa. You could find out more information on webmaster sites like Warriorforum, Digitalpoint and the likes.

I haven't tried much with the CPA business model but have been thinking of adding some into my various blogs. I was thinking of the ones like getting an insurance quote or sign up for a freebie - stuff that doesn't ask much out of the viewer. I think those have the highest conversions as people often don't want to fill out long forms or sign up for a program.

Like you, I’m also thinking of signing up with those cpa programs because I know that there is the real money is lying, I’m currently developing my blog and hoping that someday I would get at least 1000 visitors a day.

The offer that you must get into has something to do with your niche so that it would convert easily.

Those who have tried it, wouldn't you say it's a hard thing to do? If you have lots of traffic, then yes, someone will sign up - the law of big numbers kicks in. But just posting info at forums and telling your friends... From my experience, very few care.

Yes Rusty is quite right, its not all that simple but you have to have lot of traffic. If you are not able to get enough of clicks then you can't get good return.

I wasn't actually looking for these offers as a way of monetising a standard site. I am planning a site specifically for this purpose. And I am also looking at an SMS site which will utiilise these PPA sites also.
