Default Clickbank?

Has anyone made any money selling Clickbank products as an affiliate? I tried that, and it did not work for me - too much competition on free sites, and I couldn't afford to invest in paid ads.

There are a lot of sites and newsletters out there that claim you can make money with clickbank, and I believe that with the right product, and the right sites you could do well.

In my opinion the best way would be to create a niche site say for example computers (overcrowded and I'd suggest another but just an example) Create your site about computers, then create articles based around clickbank products. So you do an article on PC maintenance, then in your article you mention this great ebook or software app at clickbank and link to it with your affiliate link. People are at your site because they want to keep their PC maintained and while reading your article about the importance of this you show them exactly where to get the tools for doing so and they are ripe to buy.

This will take time, and don't expect returns the same day.

Masterful has the right idea with Clickbank. Posting up an ad, whether free or paid, will not get you many responses. If you have absolutely no cash to invest in your business, I recommend that you start with what is known as the bum marketing method. Do a google search on the phrase in quotes to find the site created by Travis - that will tell you exactly how to work this method with Clickbank products. It's a good and free way to get started so you can earn the money needed to invest in higher paying methods down the road. Some people do well enough with the bum marketing technique that they don't every take it to the next level.
