I remember buying my first PC, its was a 486 sx25 cost me £995.99, 4mb ram and a 118mb hard drive
I appreciate manufacturing costs have fallen, hence the retail price also, but ban you think of anyother area where prices have tumbled to such an incredible extent for the end user! |

Pretty much everything electronic? I remember buying my first DVD player, a snip at 100quid but I remember them at over £1000, now its cheaper to buy the player than a decient movie.
My plasma TV, 42" HD ready cost me around £1600, TV's at least as good if not better now under £700. Jen |

You know off hand I cant! Cars seem to be getting more and more expensive (even though most have a big chunk of electronic equipment in them). Property prices..enough said, groceries - do know that bread and milk have gone up massively....
I must be missing something here as there must be some industry where we have seen the price of goods/service fallen. |

I dont think cars are becoming more expensive or rather they are but inflation keeps pushing the costs up. But you are getting one the whole more for roughly the same price, which could be seen as a price cut.
OK brain hurts now :-) Jen |
