Default Virtual receptionist

Anyone used a virtual receptionist to take calls / messages. Had quotes in from a couple of companies, circa £30 a month, is this the going rate?

£30 sounds like the going rate. I am going to have to look for a virtual receptionist for my wife's business so please let me know how this goes.

I think if you don't have an English accent you will get less money, and even less if you are not a native speaker of English, but yes it is mostly done by offshoring.

You need to make sure that the best person for you business meets the needs of the business. And would be able to handle what it is you are offering. I think that it is a great way to help those people who are having a hard time getting work. But I do agree that if you are not of native language for that company it would pay less money.
