Default Page Rank Update

Well after well over six months Google finally have done there long awaited page rank update and to be honest I was very disappointed and had hoped for some great things - it seems external links can be a hinderence???

How did your sites get on, good or bad?

One of my main sites went from PR3 to PR2, when it was estimated (Before the rule changes) to be PR4 on the next update.

Looks like this particular PR update hasn't really been good for anyone, but then again does almost prove the point that PR isnt really that important for anything other than selling links to people.

Yeah there is that Jen

I had one wierd update a new site I set up only 3 months ago went from 0 - , like you my 4 went down to a 3 and my three to a 2.

I think PR is one of those things if you have it its important if you don't have it you says its not, LOL

Google has made some major changes in it's algorithm in this update, many newbie sites have got good pr and thousands of sites with good PR have lost their PR.
