Default Web Merchant Accounts

I was wondering what experience you guys have with on-line payment accounts. I know its a bit of a mine field but wanted to know what are the options out there and pros and cons with available products.

Off the cuff I can name Paypal, Worldpay, NoChex, Protx, are there any others and what are your experiences with them.

SecPay and NetBanx are a couple of UK specific ones I have also dealt with. I am currently sticking with Paypal. They are not the most competitive but I think their anti-fraud measures and data they hold must be the most secure in the world.

I have just signed up to their full merchant service called website payments pro. This costs £20 per month! But the rates come down to 3% and lower. It is a full online merchant service with online terminals etc.

I will let you know how I get on.

I currently use a business paypal account. Im planning to setup my own online business and was just going to use my Paypal account as is for payment transaction. I would have miniumum overhead this way, but cost per transaction would be higher. I had not thought about the website payment pro account but seems an interesting alternative as with my monthly throughput I could be saving money.
Thanks for your insight IGS

I also trust paypal as my online payment account and merchant account. They had the most trusted and secure system as of now. And most of the global internet trades use paypal so it is a must to use one.
