Default Advertising Business

Well I am in the bginning stages of my business, and I do mean beginning. I have an advertising company in which requires me to travel quite a bit. I am now converting it ocver into an internet based advertising company. I will be doing mass emails, newsletters, banner rotation etc.. It will also be a co-op type thing where other businesses will help each other grow and learn.
Like I said I haven't completely worked out all of trhe details so any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

That is really interesting. I am very interested in web copywriting, although I know very little about the mechanics of mass emailing. If you need any advice then please let me know.

Thank you James!
I will take any advice you want to give as I have run the advertising company successfully offline, and I know that online it will be completely different.
Thanks again!

What sort of advertising are you looking to do? Are you thinking of running this as an affiliate marketing operation or are you going to keep on acting as an agency placing direct advertising, just on the internet?

The same as I do now, but advertising in different ways solely on the internet. I will, of course still do my affiliate marketing as well, but I thought it would be a good idea to change to internet advertising instead of outside.

So you will be doing both affiliate and commissioned work? Sounds interesting. Let me know if you want to hear about some of my sillier mistakes. Someone might as well benefit from them!

I would love to hear some feedback. Just so you know I have been into affiliate marketing for a few years now, and I know it takes a while to build up. I have found the best affiliate marketing to be in online poker sites. I average about $150 a week just from 1 of the sites I promote, but I am looking to expand into promoting other things now as well.
Please do give me any feedback you can, and I would love to hear and learn from someone else's mistakes for a change.
