There are good lists out there, but with changes to spam regulations over the world the only safe list is your own list generated with opt-in (double opt-in prefered).
If you do buy a list make sure you have a unsubscribe that works, also try and buy a list as close to your target market as possible, its daft buying a general list if your trying to target women ages 18-24. Jen |

The thing about email marketing its the blunderbus effect, shoot off loads of email to a wide group of people the cost is pretty much the same to send 1 email as 1000, so even if you get 1 sale out 1000 it can be cost effective.
Thats the beauty of making your own opt-in lists, these people have already said "You know what I'm interested in what you have to say (or rather sell)", get some good copy, get an interesting product (to you niche) and yes email marketing can work. What most people see are the negative, cheap pills for making you stay able longer or for a longer todger etc, like anything used properly to a targetted audience it can work wonders. Jen |

Just put yourselves if you where the one receiving email that sells you something? will spend time to read it? maybe out of the thousands one would give it a look. I really don't like the idea anymore this days email marketing is not like it was before. People are to skeptical and vigilant this days.
