Default Color Toner Cartridges

Every time we need to replace toners on the colour laser printer, the cost feels like we should be buying a new printer. Can anyone recommend a cheap place to buy colour toners for a HP colour laserjet printer?

Have you tried using the Cartridge World type places that refill the toners manually for you? I have never used them but I know they are a lot cheaper.

These big printer manufacturers make nothing on selling the actual units. I think most profits come from accessories and toners etc.

I've used cartridge refills, they are ok not brilliant as the colour is not reproduced as originals. But these were for canon bubblejets. Very cheap though!

We are currently a HP house when it comes to printing. Most of are units are fairly heavy duty - eg Laserjet 9000's & 5500's. We use original products as we tried unbranded and refils and massive problems with our units. The ink was alot more sticky and therefore caused alot more paper jams.

The cheapest price I have seen branded toners are on ebay - not very consistent in terms of supply.

What kind of printing are you using your units for eg - brochure, art work, letters etc..
If you can do some analysis and determine you cost per page you may find out sourcing certain jobs may save you a significant amount of money.

Let me know if you need info as I have been through the exercise.

You can get what you need on Ebay it's a tad cheaper than your normal price but it takes longer to arrive which is bad. However cartridge world do refill ink cartridges at a good price too. It was only small but now it's a big company around the UK
